Timothy Maurice Paro was born August 11, 1960, in Faribault, Minnesota, to Theodore and Alice (Broderick) Paro. They lived in Northfield and as a child he moved with his family to Blaine. In 1969, they returned to Northfield and he attended Northfield High School. About a year after high school moved to Texas. He returned to Northfield and in 1985 moved to North Carolina, returning in 1988. Tim worked various jobs in the Northfield area and was known for his skills as a handyman.

Survivors include his parents, Theodore and Alice of Northfield; 5 brothers and sisters: Ted (Toni), Theresa, Patricia and James, all of Northfield, and Joyce of Faribault; his nephew, Christopher Paro of Faribault; his niece, Elizabeth Paro of Northfield; the Paro, DuPay, Tripp and Broderick extended families; other relatives and many friends.

Tim passed away unexpectedly on Friday Evening, August 20, 2010, in Northfield, at the age of 50.

A benefit hosted by the family will begin at 6PM on Friday, September 3, 2010, at VFW Post #4393, 516 Division Street in Northfield.

To celebrate Tim’s life, the family will host a gathering beginning at Noon on Saturday, September 4, 2010, at Alexander Park, 1810 NW 2nd Avenue in Faribault, Pavilion #2. There will be a time of sharing around 5PM. Refreshments will be provided.
