Thu, 01/07/2010 Helaine Theresa Brooks was born January 22, 1919, in Brookline, Massachusetts, to Edward H. and Mary (McGrath) Clayton. She passed away January 7, 2010, at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield at the age of 90.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, William and Julia Foster of Costa Rica; grandchildren: Tracy Vermilyea of Bloomington, Lori (Troy) Neubel of Nerstrand, Kathryn Lucille Griffin of Washington, DC; 4 great-grandchildren: Braden, Sullivan, Brennan and Kaelin; and her step-daughter, Karen Tromblee of Plattsburg, New York.
She was preceded in death by her husbands William A. Foster and Leonard J. Brooks.
Services will be private.
Arrangements are with the Benson & Langehough Funeral Home.
